Even alien mums are worried about their kids crossing the road and whether they've got clean underwear on! :)
Heheh! Yeah, it's definitely a mum thing, isn't it? :-)
LOL mothers no matter where they are are all the same! Made me laugh (being a mother and all) ^__^
I can remember having this same conversation when I was a kid, I think at seven years old I couldn't make the connection between clean underwear and getting hit by a bus that my mum could. LOL!!
Seven billion years old... A meteor, split off a mega-planet?
HI John, I dunno what they are, but they do live to be very, very old, his Mom would be about thirty billion years old. :-)
Folk wisdom older than creation itself...
Heheh! I wonder what the caveman version of this would have been?"Son, are you wearin' clean fur?" :-)
I suppose age is a relative thing, isn't it? Fun piece.
Hi Richard, and thank you.Yeah, this was just a bit of silliness on my part, but the concept amused me, I just transferred the idea to beings that lived much longer than us, of course as usual I had to go to the extreme. :-)
Ha! Like that classic Trek episode with the alien kid that kept wanting to play with Kirk and the gang. :D
Hi Catherine, yeah I remember that one, he was a god, and his parents ended up grounding him. :-)
Nice one. We both did silly little dialog pieces this week.
Hi Tim, and thank you.I think silly dialogue helps the world to be a happier place. :-)
Love it! I thought it was a solar system talking to its parent galaxy. Like they do.
Thanks Catherine, you may be right about that, I didn't have any sort of mental image about this, it was just the thought that amused me. :-)
I have the weirdest mental images of galactic underwear now...
Hiya Icy, yeah, maybe Milky way boxers? :-)
Haha, aw bless them moms! Sometimes they have the most ridiculous concerns.
Haha, Moms are brilliant aren't they? When we are young we don't always understand the logic of some of the things they say, come to think of it, I'm not sure I understand it even now. :-)
